Program Types
Exchange Program (Limited Capacity)
Spaces are first-come first-served and students are encouraged to apply as close to the application opening date as possible to secure a spot. Exchange programs offer more independent travel. Students are expected to arrange their own housing either on or off campus (with some guidance from the host university), travel arrangements to/from the airport, and coordinate directly with the host university on course enrollment.
Provider Program (Open Capacity)
Spaces are unlimited for students who meet eligibility requirements and complete applications. Provider programs are in partnership with study abroad providers: API, ISA, and TEAN. Note: only provider programs listed below are approved for UC credit. Provider programs offer a high level of student support. Housing is arranged, students receive visa and course enrollment support, airport pick-up is included, there is onsite support staff, and the program includes built-in excursions and cultural activities.
